Mike White Has A Lot Of Hurdles To Clear
2 years agoNew York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that quarterback Mike White (ribs) has "a lot of hurdles" to go through with scans this week to see how his injured ribs have healed. If he cannot play in Week 16 on Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Saleh confirmed it would be Zach Wilson making his second straight start and not veteran Joe Flacco. White injured his ribs in Week 14 and wasn't cleared by team doctors to play in Week 15. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect the 27-year-old to play on a short week. In his first game action since Week 11, Wilson went 18-for-35 for 317 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the loss to the Detroit Lions. The 23-year-old looked better, but he'll be a low-end QB2 in fantasy if he starts on Thursday against the Jags.
