Kyler Murray To Have Surgery After Christmas
2 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (knee) is scheduled to have surgery to fix the torn ACL in his left knee sometime after Christmas, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury. The Cardinals put Murray on season-ending Injured Reserve this week. Kingsbury said he "wouldn't put anything past" Murray as far as being ready for the 2023 season. The 25-year-old signal-caller had a bit of a disappointing season in 2022, throwing for 2,368 yards, 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions while adding 418 rushing yards and three more TDs on 67 carries. With him potentially not being ready for the start of next season, Murray's fantasy stock as a QB1 for fantasy managers next year is on thin ice. Veteran Colt McCoy will lead Arizona's offense in the final four games.
