8/18:ESPN.com's Mike Rodak believes it's too early to consider Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen a "lock" to start in Week 1 now that AJ McCarron (shoulder) is out with a broken collarbone. The call still comes down to head coach Sean McDermott, who has a high opinion of Nathan Peterman. Peterman had a solid performance in the second preseason game on Friday, but it came against third-stringers. Allen has been impressive in both preseason games and has the stronger arm and much more upside. At this point it'd be a shock if Allen isn't the Week 1 starter, but it's not a foregone conclusion.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
