Ricky Pearsall has "Minor PCL" Injury, Week 5 Status Uncertain
Ricky Pearsall (knee) may have a "minor PCL" injury, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan, casting doubt on his availability in Week 5, per Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle. Pearsall went down hard on his knee trying to make a catch early in the third quarter on Sunday's eventual 26-21 loss to the Jaguars. Pearsall was removed for evaluation and made it back into the game in the fourth quarter, though he saw zero targets after his return. He finished the day with four catches on five targets and 46 receiving yards. The 49ers are scheduled to play the Rams on Thursday night, leaving Pearsall with less time than usual to recover. If he does miss the game, Demarcus Robinson and Kendrick Bourne can be expected to be more involved.
