Anthony Stolarz Signs Four-Year Extension With Maple Leafs
Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz has bagged a four-year extension ahead of the new NHL season. He was scheduled for unrestricted free agency next offseason before agreeing to a $15 million contract. Stolarz arrived in Toronto last year and was an instant success, posting a 21-8-3 record over the course of the season. He had a career-high four shutouts and logged a 2.14 goals-against average with a .926 save percentage. Due to Joseph Woll's (personal) absence, Stolarz is expected to shoulder a heavy workload right from the start this season, making him an attractive fantasy option.
