Toronto Maple Leafs defensemen Jordie Benn (groin) and Carl Dahlstrom (shoulder) both suffered injuries in Wednesday's preseason clash against Montreal. Benn suffered a groin injury and was able to log just three shifts, while Dahlstrom hurt his shoulder and settled for 3:49 of action. Forwards Calle Jarnkrok and Alexander Kerfoot ended up filling in at the back. Jake Muzzin (back) and Timothy Liljegren (hernia) are already nursing injuries, so Toronto is currently very thin on the blue line. Luckily for the team, there's still a while to go until the season opener against the Canadiens, and some of their injuries should clear up by then.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
