Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman John Klingberg is unlikely to play in Friday's contest in Stockholm versus the Detroit Red Wings, according to head coach Sheldon Keefe. The veteran blueliner has been banged up of late and missed Friday's game against the Calgary Flames before returning for Saturday's win over the Vancouver Canucks. It's been a tough start to his Maple Leafs tenure as the offense-first rear guard has yet to score a goal with just five assists and a minus-seven rating across 14 contests despite spending much of the season on the top unit of a talented Maple Leafs power play. If the 31-year-old is unable to go Friday, Simon Benoit is the likely candidate to dress in his absence.--Brenton Kemp
