Joey Bosa Dealing With Calf Injury
Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott told reporters on Tuesday that new edge rusher Joey Bosa (calf) suffered a calf injury late last week and will miss organized team activities this spring. The hope is that he's a full-go for the start of training camp at the end of July. Bosa is no stranger to injuries, so fantasy managers in IDP formats probably aren't surprised by any means. After nine seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers where he picked up 62 sacks, the 29-year-old pass-rusher signed a one-year deal with the Bills in free agency in the offseason. The five-time Pro Bowler and former Defensive Rookie of the Year is one of the better pass-rushers in the league when healthy, but the problem is he always seems to be dealing with injuries. Bosa hasn't played a full season since 2021, which is also the last year he had double-digit sacks. He's off to a bad start in Buffalo.
