Jeff Wilson Jr. Hopeful To Play On Christmas Day
Jeff Wilson Jr. (hip) is feeling better this week and is hopeful to play in Week 16 against the Green Bay Packers on Christmas Day this Sunday. Apparently Wilson was very close to playing in last week's loss to the Buffalo Bills but was ultimately held out as a precaution. The 27-year-old returned to a limited practice on Wednesday, and barring a setback to close out the week, it's looking like he'll return to Miami's backfield to share touches with Raheem Mostert. With Wilson out last Saturday, Mostert had season-highs in rushing yards (136), scrimmage yards (156) and snaps (76 percent). Wilson's return against Green Bay would muddy the waters in Miami's backfield.
