Goaltender Jaroslav Halak (upper body) was called upon to start in the Vancouver Canucks game against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday. He only lasted one period, though, leaving the game early with an upper-body injury. He was perfect before the injury, turning away 14 of 14 first-period shots. Halak has played 17 games this year in his first season for the Canucks.
