James Robinson A Healthy Scratch Again Thursday
2 years agoNew York Jets running back James Robinson is once again a healthy scratch for the Thursday night game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16. Rookie Zonovan Knight (ankle) was questionable for this game, but he is suiting up, leaving Robinson as the odd man out of the Jets backfield yet again. Knight should see the majority of the carries against the Jags, with Michael Carter serving in a change-of-pace role. Ty Johnson is the No. 3 back. Robinson begin the year as a solid fantasy contributor with Jacksonville before second-year back Travis Etienne Jr. took over. Since being traded to the Jets, Robinson has only 29 carries for 85 yards and no touchdowns, catching two of three targets for five yards and a touchdown in four games. He's become waiver-wire material.
