Jalen Hurts Could Miss Next Two Games With Sprained Shoulder
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback and MVP candidate Jalen Hurts (shoulder) could miss the team's next two games due to a sprained right shoulder that he suffered in the Week 15 win over the Chicago Bears, according to NFL sources. It's also possible that he doesn't play in the final three regular season games and for another month until the divisional round of the postseason. Hurts was injured late in the third quarter on Sunday and is now highly unlikely to play in Week 16 against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys on Saturday. What a terrible time to lose the overall QB2 in fantasy this year with the semifinals and finals coming up the next two weeks in most fantasy leagues. Fantasy managers that have been riding Hurts' breakout season in 2022 will have to go in another direction moving forward. In Philly, Gardner Minshew will take over the offense for however long Hurts is out.
