Boston Bruins defenseman Jakub Zboril (knee) was ruled out for the season on Tuesday. He underwent surgery last week to fix a torn ACL in his right knee. Zboril last played on Dec. 2 and his season concludes with three points, 13 shots, 24 hits and 10 blocks with 10 games played. The 24-year-old Czech blue-liner was skating with Mike Reilly on the second defensive pairing before getting hurt and Brandon Carlo has since then taken over his spot. Zboril had his rookie campaign last season, and he's on 12 points through his first 54 career games with no goals. --Taavi Pailk
