The Miami Heat reportedly have forward/center Precious Achiuwa on their radar, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports. Jackson notes that "several other teams" have also expressed their interest in Achiuwa, who is a free agent following the completion of a one-year, $6 million deal with the New York Knicks. Achiuwa spent his rookie campaign in Miami and would welcome a return to the team, according to Jackson. However, due to financial reasons, the Heat are in no rush to make a deal with Achiuwa. When the Knicks were healthy, Achiuwa had only a limited role on the team, and Miami seems like a much better fit for him. The Heat have lost several frontcourt players ahead of the 2025-26 campaign, including veteran Kevin Love.--Taavi Pailk
