Eloy Jimenez Hits Fifth Homer Of The Season
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez went 2-for-4 with his fifth home run of the season, two RBI, a run scored and a strikeout in the team's 6-4 loss to the Los Angeles Angels on Memorial Day on Monday night. The long ball was Jimenez's first since returning from the injured list on Sunday. The 26-year-old Dominican has had trouble staying healthy in his career, but he's a dynamic outfielder when healthy and should continue to hit in the heart of Chicago's batting order. He's now slashing .269/.339/.462 with an .801 OPS, five doubles, five homers, 19 RBI and 14 runs scored in 115 trips to the plate and 27 games in 2023. Keep Jimenez in your starting fantasy lineups on a daily basis.
