Dodgers Put Noah Syndergaard On Injured List
2 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers placed starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (finger) on the 15-day injured list on Thursday with a blister on his right index finger. Manager Dave Roberts said the team will build Syndergaard back up slowly once his blister heals. The Dodgers are in no hurry to rush the 30-year-old right-hander back out there after he has gone 1-4 with an ugly 7.16 ERA (5.55 FIP), 1.45 WHIP, nine walks and only 38 strikeouts in 55 1/3 innings over his 12 starts for the Blue so far in 2023. Fantasy managers in mixed leagues can send Thor to the waiver wire, and there's a chance he won't even have a rotation spot available to him once he's healthy enough and stretched out for a return to the big leagues.
