2 years agoLas Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was benched for the final two games of the regular season, and he just hasn't had the season that was expected of him under new head coach Josh McDaniels in 2022. His 14 interceptions lead the NFL, and his 60.8% completion percentage ranks 31st. The 31-year-old doesn't have any guaranteed money left on his deal after this year, and the team's dead-money charge for 2023 would be only $5.625 million if they were to cut him. Carr's 2023 salary of $32.9 million will become fully guaranteed if he's on the roster three days after the Super Bowl. His $40.4 million in 2023 and 204 is guaranteed against injury, so it's feeling more likely that they may have made up their mind to move on from him after this season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
