Chase Claypool, Equanimeous St. Brown Out Wednesday
Chase Claypool (knee) and Equanimeous St. Brown (concussion) both missed practice on Wednesday. Claypool hasn't played since Week 13 (the team had a bye in Week 14), but he doesn't look to be closer to returning in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions. The 24-year-old has been off the fantasy radar in most leagues in his five games with Chicago, as he has just 12 catches on 22 targets for 111 yards and no touchdowns. St. Brown picked up a concussion in Week 15 and miss last week's loss to the Buffalo Bills. He's no lock to clear the concussion protocol before this Sunday. With Dante Pettis (ankle) also nursing an injury, the Bears receiving corps could be down to Byron Pringle, rookie Velus Jones Jr. and N'Keal Harry against the Lions.
