1 year agoThe St. Louis Cardinals moved outfielder Tyler O'Neill (back) to the 60-day injured list on Friday to make room on the 40-man roster for infielder/outfielder Richie Palacios, who they acquired from the Cleveland Guardians in exchange for cash considerations. Palacios was optioned to Triple-A Memphis. O'Neill initially went on the injured list on May 5, and now he'll be out until at least July 4. The 27-year-old Canadian outfielder was a disappointment before his injury, hitting just .228 (21-for-92) with four doubles, two home runs and six RBI in 29 games played. With Lars Nootbaar (back) also still on the IL, the Cardinals have been running with an outfield alignment of rookie Jordan Walker in left, Tommy Edman in center and Dylan Carlson in right field.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
