Calais Campbell A Long Shot To Play In Week 16
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens defensive end Calais Campbell (knee) is considered a long shot to play in Week 16 against the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday after he was forced from the Week 15 game early against the Cleveland Browns due to injury. Pro Bowl cornerback Marcus Peters (calf) suffered a mild calf strain in the same game and is also expected to miss some time, so the Ravens will likely be down some key contributors on the defensive side of the ball this weekend against rookie quarterback Desmond Ridder and company. With the 36-year-old Campbell hurting, look for Travis Jones to see more snaps on the D-line this weekend. Campbell, a six-time Pro Bowler, has 36 tackles (18 solo), four tackles for loss, 14 QB hits, 5.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in 13 starts this year. Baltimore's defense will still be a must-start in fantasy against the rookie Ridder this week.
