Brice Turang Steals Ninth Base Of The Season
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers rookie shortstop Brice Turang went 2-for-4 with a triple, an RBI, a stolen base, a walk and two strikeouts in the team's 4-3 extra-innings win over the visiting Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night. It was nice to see some signs of life from Turang, as he entered Tuesday's contest on a seven-game hitless stretch in 19 at-bats with four strikeouts. The 23-year-old shortstop has mostly looked overmatched at the plate in his first year in the big leagues, and he's now hitting just .205 (34-for-166) with four doubles, two triples, three home runs, 14 RBI, nine stolen bases and 16 runs scored in 57 games played. Hopefully his performance on Tuesday will get him going, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect too much.
