Brian Elliott Guards Cage On Saturday
Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Brian Elliott will take the crease in search of his eighth win of the campaign versus the New York Rangers on Saturday. The 35-year-old, who could get some extended playing time with goaltender Carter Hart severely struggling in Philadelphia right now, is coming off a relief appearance versus the Rangers on Thursday in which he allowed three goals on 11 shots against. Elliott has posted a 7-4-1 record, a 2.97 goals-against average and a .887 save percentage on the season. Given the Flyers recent struggles (lost five of last six contests), fantasy owners would be wise to leave Elliott (21% owned in Yahoo! leagues) stapled to the bench on Saturday.
