Breece Hall Not Taking Part In OTAs
2 years agoNew York Jets second-year running back Breece Hall (knee) and offensive tackle Mekhi Becton (knee) both will not be taking part in organized team activities this week. Head coach Robert Saleh told reporters in early April that Hall "looks fantastic" after tearing his ACL in October of his rookie season, but the team isn't going to push the 21-year-old this early in the offseason. We'll have a better idea of where Hall is at in his recovery in training camp this summer, but barring setbacks, he's expected to be ready for Week 1. Even if Hall is ready to go, though, the Jets could manage his workload early on and incorporate more Michael Carter or rookie Israel Abanikanda into the backfield. As a result, Hall should be considered more of a low-end RB1 heading into fantasy drafts this fall.
