Brandin Cooks Participates In Thursday's Practice
2 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks (wrist) was taking part in practice on Thursday. He was present for Wednesday's session but didn't get any work in. Cooks was unhappy that he wasn't traded at the deadline last week and was held out of last Thursday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles as a result. Despite the frustration, it looks like the 29-year-old will return to the field this weekend to face the New York Giants. Houston could also be getting receiver Nico Collins (groin) back from a two-game absence, which would be great news for quarterback Davis Mills. However, Houston's offense hasn't been very fantasy friendly outside of rookie running back Dameon Pierce. Cooks will be a low-upside WR3/flex if he plays on Sunday.
