Bills Trade Up To Take Tight End Dalton Kincaid
2 years agoThe Buffalo Bills selected University of Utah tight end Dalton Kincaid with the No. 25 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft on Thursday night. The Bills traded up near the end of the first round to grab the first tight end in this year's draft. Kincaid was the consensus top TE in this year's class, so it's no surprise he becomes the first player off the board at the position. The 23-year-old is more of a receiver than an actual tight end, but his presence in Buffalo's offense is obviously bad news for Dawson Knox. Kincaid has raw pass-catching talent and has great size at 6-foot-4, 246 pounds. Blocking will probably be an issue for Kincaid at the next level, but the Bills probably didn't take him in the first round to block much. It's usually tough for rookie TEs to make an immediate fantasy impact, but Kincaid could be an outlier while being paired with quarterback Josh Allen.
