Bills Elevate Cole Beasley To Active Roster
2 years agoThe Buffalo Bills elevated wide receiver Cole Beasley and defensive end Kingsley Jonathan from the practice squad to the active roster on Friday for the Week 16 game against the Chicago Bears on Saturday. Beasley was active for the first time this year for the Bills in last Saturday's win over the Miami Dolphins and caught his only target for a nine-yard gain on 11 total offensive snaps. The 33-year-old veteran has plenty of chemistry with quarterback Josh Allen, but he'll likely remain behind both Isaiah McKenzie and rookie Khalil Shakir in the slot for Buffalo, making him impossible to trust for fantasy purposes. In two games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Weeks 3 and 4, Beasley caught four of his five targets for 17 yards.
