Andrew Thomas Activated Off PUP List

New York Giants left tackle Andrew Thomas (foot) was activated off the physically unable to perform list and returned to practice in a limited capacity on Tuesday, according to Evan Barnes of Newsday Sports. Thomas had previously been unable to participate in training camp while recovering from the foot surgery he underwent last October. The 26-year-old is one of the game's better left tackles when he's healthy, but injuries have limited him to just 16 games over the last two seasons. Thomas still has work to do to be ready for the start of the regular season, but recent reporting indicates that the team is optimistic about his chances to play in Week 1 against the Washington Commanders.--Will Brady
