Los Angeles Kings defenseman Alexander Edler (lower body) is expected back in the lineup Thursday as his team hosts the San Jose Sharks. The 35-year-old blueliner has been sidelined since December 11 when he sustained an injury against the Minnesota Wild. Edler has just 11 points (one goal, 10 assists) through 26 games played this season but also has a plus-8 rating. He is projected to skate with Sean Durzi as the Kings' second defensive pair.--Chelena Goldman
