Adolis Garcia To Have MRI Exam
1 year agoTexas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia (side) will undergo an MRI exam after leaving the 3-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 3 of the World Series on Monday night. Garcia went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout before dealing with left-side tightness on a flyout in the eighth inning. We should have a better idea of whether the 30-year-old right-handed slugger will be able to play again in the World Series after the results of his MRI exam are known. The Rangers would lose their hottest hitter in the postseason if Garcia is forced to miss any time. He was the ALCS MVP and has eight total home runs and 22 RBI in this year's playoffs. If Garcia is unable to play in Game 4 on Tuesday, either Robbie Grossman or Travis Jankowski will enter the starting lineup.
