Andy's must-have NFL Week 7 Pick'em pool picks to target, avoid. His confidence picks help you make winning decisions in your NFL Pick 'Em Pool contests for Week 7.
While fantasy football offers players ample ways to compete in different tournaments, pick 'em pools are centered around picking the winners of each game. In these competitions, players choose the winner of each game on the schedule and assign a confidence ranking to each pick. Last weekend, we crushed our high-confidence picks as both the Packers and Broncos took care of business.
Pick 'em pools are fairly simple. Players will assign a confidence score to a winner in each match. They would then be rewarded the amount of points you assigned to them on your confidence scale if that team were to win their game.
Let's take a look at which games managers should feel confident placing a higher "bid" on and which games managers should put lower on their confidence scale. Let's dive in!

Higher Confidence Pick 'Em Pool Picks
Kansas City Chiefs vs. LV
The Kansas City Chiefs enter this game as heavy 11.5 favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook and will likely be the most-used team in survivor pools. They will face the Las Vegas Raiders, who sit with a 2-4 record and at the bottom of the AFC West. Through six weeks, the Raiders have scored just 17.2 PPG, which is the third-lowest mark in the sport.
On defense, the Raiders have allowed the 10th-most PPG.
They will travel to Kansas City to face a Chiefs offense that has begun to find its footing. In his last game, Patrick Mahomes was near-perfect, going 22-for-30 with 257 yards and three scores en route to defeating the Detroit Lions. Mahomes will also get his top wideout, Rashee Rice, back in action following his six-game suspension.
Mahomes is a legit MVP candidate and will now have his top WR back in his offense. If that was not enough to convince you, Mahomes holds a stellar 12-2 career record against the Raiders.
New England Patriots at TEN
After picking up their first victory in Week 5, the Titans took another step back in Week 6. They fell 20-10 to the Raiders and eventually parted ways with HC Brian Callahan earlier this week. A struggling Tennessee team with an interim coach facing a red-hot, surging New England Patriots is not an ideal matchup.
Drake Maye and the Patriots picked up their third-straight victory last Sunday and are emerging as legit playoff threats in the conference. During this three-game stretch, Maye has looked like a franchise QB, averaging over 260.0 total yards with a 6:0 TD:INT.
The Patriots will face a Titans team that has posted the second-lowest PPG scored and the seventh-highest PPG allowed on defense. Take the Patriots with a high confidence pick despite being on the road.

Lower Confidence Pick 'Em Pool Picks
Philadelphia Eagles at MIN
The Eagles will travel to Minnesota to face the Vikings in what could be the toughest game to predict on the slate. The Vikings are coming off a Week 6 bye after spending the past two weeks overseas. Even though the Vikings have had two QBs under center this season, they enter Week 7 holding a solid 3-2 record.
In their recent victory over the Browns, Carson Wentz led the way, going 25-for-34 with 236 yards and a score. They will host an Eagles team that has dropped each of their last two games. Despite this, the Eagles are still 1.5-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Given that this game will likely be decided by one score, gamers should look to place this at the bottom of their confidence scale. I give a slight edge to the Eagles as they should be able to run the football well, given that the Vikings have allowed the 10th-most rushing yards per game this season. In addition, given Wentz's poor decision-making at times (two interceptions in Week 4), the Eagles should be able to narrowly escape with a victory.
New York Jets vs. CAR
My final game to put on the lower end of your confidence scale is between the Jets and the Panthers. The Panthers entered this game on a two-game winning streak. During this impressive stretch, Rico Dowdle has led the way, averaging a stellar 194.5 rushing yards per game. However, QB Bryce Young has yet to find his stride, averaging a low 167.0 passing yards per game with a 6:2 TD:INT since Week 3.
They will travel to New York to face a Jets team that allowed nine sacks to the Denver Broncos last weekend. However, the Jets' defense is coming off a solid showing of its own and should limit Young's upside in this game. Even if New York's top wideout, Garrett Wilson, is unable to play, Justin Fields should keep the Jets in this game, as the Carolina defense has allowed 24.3 PPG.
