Andy's top NFL Week 6 Pick'em pool picks to target, avoid. His confidence picks help you make winning decisions in your NFL Pick 'Em Pool contests for Week 6.
While fantasy football offers players ample ways to compete in different tournaments, pick 'em pools may be the easiest. In these competitions, players choose the winner of each game on the schedule and assign a confidence ranking to each pick.
For example, out of the 16 games on a typical NFL slate, managers rank their most confident winner as "16" and their least confident as "1." They would then be rewarded 16 points if that team were to win their game.
Let's take a look at which games managers should feel confident placing a higher "bid" on and which games managers should put lower on their confidence scale. Let's dive in!

Higher Confidence Pick 'Em Pool Picks
Green Bay Packers vs. CIN
The Packers are coming out of Week 5 as heavy 14-point favorites against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals have dropped three straight games and have struggled throughout the majority of them. In Week 3, they lost by 38 points to the Vikings. The following Monday evening, they would score just three points against the Denver Broncos.
While they showed some improvement against the Lions, scoring 24 points, they still allowed 37 en route to losing their third straight game. Even though the Bengals will now turn to Joe Flacco to lead the offense, the Packers are still the safest pick to make on this slate.
With Cleveland, Flacco was not overly productive, averaging just 203.8 passing yards per game with a poor 2:6 TD:INT. In addition, given that the Bengals' secondary has struggled to contain opposing offenses, expect Jordan Love to light up the scoresheet in this game. Love is coming off a 337-yard three-touchdown performance in Week 4.
Denver Broncos @ NYJ
The other pick to place at the top of your confidence ranking this weekend is the Denver Broncos. The Broncos will travel to London to face the 0-5 Jets. After a disappointing loss in Week 3 to the Chargers, the Broncos have looked very sharp in each of the past two weeks and come into this game on a nice run.
In Week 4, they dismantled the Bengals by a score of 28-3. Last Sunday, they marched into Philadelphia and handed the Eagles their first loss since the 2024 campaign. In this game, quarterback Bo Nix was very sharp, going 24-for-39 with 242 yards and a score with no turnovers.
They will face a Jets team that boasts one of the worst defenses in the game. Throughout five weeks, they have allowed the second-most points per game and the 12th-most yards per game. While they have had success on offense, they will likely take a step back, facing a Denver defense unit that has allowed just 16.8 points per game.

Lower Confidence Pick 'Em Pool Picks
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. SF
The Buccaneers currently sit as three-point favorites at home, which makes this game essentially a straight pick 'em. The Buccaneers enter this contest, riding high after a thrilling victory over the Seahawks. In this game, quarterback Baker Mayfield enjoyed a dominant showing, throwing 379 yards with two scores. However, this weekend, he is slated to be without his top wideout, Chris Godwin (fibula), as well as Mike Evans (hamstring) and running back Bucky Irving (foot).
They will host the 49ers, who are coming off an impressive victory over the Rams. In this game, the 49ers were heavily injured on offense but were able to get the job done. No. 2 QB Mac Jones has looked very comfortable in Kyle Shanahan's system, averaging 301.7 yards per game with a 6:1 TD:INT.
Even though the 49ers are likely to be short-handed once again, seeing them defeat the Rams on their home turf makes this game a difficult one to predict. This is the definition of a toss-up between two of the top teams in the NFC.
I would suggest riding with the Buccaneers, but with very low confidence.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. SEA
The other contest you should put towards the bottom of your confidence making is between the Seahawks and the Jaguars. The Seahawks enter this game coming off their Week 5 loss to the Buccaneers. However, before this loss, the Seahawks picked up three straight wins against the Cardinals, Saints, and Steelers.
The Jaguars come into Week 6 after an impressive home victory over the Chiefs. In the previous week, they defeated the 49ers in San Francisco.
The primary reason this game is quite difficult to predict is that both teams boast elite defensive units. The Jaguars have allowed the seventh-fewest points per game, while the Seahawks have allowed the 12th-fewest points per game. Outside of their 38 allowed points to the Buccaneers in Week 5, they held each of their first four opponents to under 20 points.
This game will likely be decided by a field goal, as evidenced by the 1.5-point spread it holds on DraftKings Sportsbook.
