Kickers to Start in Week 17 (2025): Best Fantasy Playoffs Streaming Options

Andy Borregales - Fantasy Football Kicker Streamers, Starts, Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups

Andy analyzes which kickers to sit or start in Week 17 (2025), and provides his best fantasy football playoffs kicker streaming options and schedules.

Week 17 will be the fantasy football championships for many leagues, and every point will be critical for those who make the big game.

Streaming kickers is a strategy that can help win a matchup, and Week 17 presents opportunities to pick up and start kickers that are available in many leagues. One can even argue that stashing a second kicker ahead of time can help prepare for the big game, in case you make it.

Are you looking for any possible edge for your fantasy football matchups? Well, don't overlook the power of a kicker for your fantasy success. Below you'll find some of our favorite fantasy football kicker streamers for Week 17. You can also check out our favorite fantasy football Week 16 kicker streamers. Good luck!

Best Kicker Streaming Options For Week 17

Evan McPherson (CIN) vs. Arizona Cardinals
51% Rostered

With Joe Burrow back in action, the entire Cincinnati offense has seen its ceiling raised. While they had a bit of a rough showing against the Ravens back in Week 15, they put up 32 and 34 points on the scoreboard back in Weeks 13 and 14. During these two games, McPherson knocked in all six field goals and hit all six of his extra points.

Overall, McPherson enters the final stretch of the season with an 88.5% FG%, with most of his struggles coming from deep, going just 4-for-7 on 50+ yard attempts. Despite his struggles from deeper ranges, his offensive environment gives him elite upside. Facing a weak Arizona defense that is allowing the second-most PPR points to opposing kickers, McPherson is a must-start option in all leagues.

Will Reichard (MIN) vs. Detroit Lions
25% Rostered

While Reichard has been one of the sport's top kickers this season, his fantasy upside has been significantly limited due to the team's poor offensive environment. However, over the past two games leading up to Week 16, young QB J.J. McCarthy has begun turning the corner and putting points on the board. During their victories over the Commanders and Cowboys, the Vikings scored 65 total points.

While he attempted only three field goals in these two games, he made eight extra points, giving him a high floor. Overall, he enters Week 16 with an elite 92.3% FG%, with his only two misses this season from 50+ yards out.

Eddy Pineiro (SF) vs. Chicago Bears
29% Rostered

After missing two weeks with a hamstring injury, Eddy Pineiro quickly returned to fantasy stardom in his return last week, going 3-for-3 on field goals and perfect 4-for-4 on extra points during their victory over the Titans. Before his injury, Pineiro was enjoying just as much success, serving as the top-kicking option for the high-octane San Francisco offense.

Over his last eight games in action, the 30-year-old has gone 18-for-18 on field goals with a dominant 5-for-5 on 50+ yard attempts, which has significantly raised his ceiling for fantasy. Even though he will face a tougher Chicago Bears defense that is allowing the fifth-fewest PPR points to opposing kickers, his ceiling makes him a must-start in all formats.

Andy Borregales (NE) @ New York Jets
15% Rostered

Even though Andy Borregales is coming off a quiet showing in their Week 15 loss to the Buffalo Bills, the young kicker carries top-12 upside in a Week 17 tilt against the Jets. Over the last two games leading up to Week 15, the rookie kicker totaled 29.0 PPR points as he went 8-for-9 on attempts and a perfect 5-for-5 on extra points.

Since Week 8, Borregales has shown a high floor for fantasy as he has attempted at least three field goals in all but three games. During these seven games, the rookie has missed just two field goals (15-for-17) and hit all 22 of his extra points. He is in a prime spot to bounce back in the fantasy championship, facing the Jets, who have allowed the most PPR points to opposing kickers.

Cairo Santos (CHI) @ San Francisco 49ers
19% Rostered

The final kicker to consider streaming to lead you to fantasy glory is Cairo Santos of the Chicago Bears. Santos is coming off a few quiet showings but should be primed to return to form facing the 49ers, which could lead to a high-scoring affair between two potent offense units. From Weeks 12 through 15, Santos has gone just 5-for-6 on field goals, but has held a safe floor through extra points, converting on all 12 of his extra points.

However, before this brief stretch, Santos averaged 10.6 PPR points from Weeks 4 through 11 (missed two games due to injury) and went 14-for-17 on field goals, including three field goals from 50+ yards out. Santos is a sneaky option in deeper leagues, given his recent struggles. Due to his strong early-season showings, he production suggests he is due for major positive regression.
