Should I start Kendre Miller, Tyler Allgeier, or RJ Harvey for Week 7? Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks and recommendations for the 2025 NFL season.
For many, Week 7 is the halfway point of the fantasy football regular season. It is time for teams to start making pushes to get into a position where the fantasy playoffs are a reality.
2025 has been a tough year for injuries, but weeks are getting even more difficult with bye weeks. Fantasy managers who have been relying on the Bills and Ravens offenses will need replacements in Week 7.
Three running backs that fantasy managers may be considering are Kendre Miller, Tyler Allgeier, and RJ Harvey. Are any worth starting in fantasy football? Read below to find out.

Should I Start Kendre Miller for Fantasy?
Miller has carved out a consistent weekly role in the Saints’ backfield. Miller has had a snap share above 30% in the last three weeks. During that time, he has averaged 9.7 carries, 42.3 rushing yards, and scored a touchdown. He also added two receptions for 19 yards during that time.
Unfortunately, Miller hasn’t had much fantasy relevance despite his consistent role. Miller has just one week this season with more than 6.0 fantasy points. He has just one top-30 running back finish, but it came on the one week he was able to get into the end zone.

The Saints' backfield is still dominated by Alvin Kamara, especially in the pass game. Miller will now also have to compete for valuable red zone touches with Taysom Hill, now that he is healthy. Even with Hill in the fold, Miller will get carries in the backfield.
New Orleans’ opponent in Week 7, the Chicago Bears, has struggled against running backs this season. The Bears have allowed the seventh-most rushing yards this season (629), but are coming off a strong showing against the Washington Commanders.
Miller can pay off RB3 or FLEX value in a pinch due to his role, but it will be nearly impossible for him to be more unless Kamara suffers an injury.
Should I Start Tyler Allgeier for Fantasy?
Bijan Robinson is the RB1 in fantasy points per game (24.8 PPR points), but Allgeier still had some respectable fantasy weeks as a complementary piece. Allgeier has logged at least a 31% snap share in three of Atlanta’s last four games. He’s averaging 10.8 carries, 40.8 rushing yards, and has scored three touchdowns during that span.

The veteran running back is trusted as a breather back for the Falcons and has played at least 20 snaps in three of his last four games. The only thing that has reduced his workload this season is games where the Falcons are in a negative game script and need Robinson’s pass-catching ability on the field.
The Falcons have a matchup against a 49ers team that, while healthy, is still navigating major injuries within the box on defense (Nick Bosa and Fred Warner).
Allgeier has three top-30 finishes in five games this season, including two games where he was a top-20 running back. He should be considered a high-end RB3 that has RB2 upside if he can find the end zone.
Should I Start RJ Harvey for Fantasy?
The excitement surrounding Harvey this offseason pushed the rookie into the first six rounds of fantasy drafts. So far, paying that price tag has been a resounding bust.
Harvey is the RB45 in fantasy, averaging 8.0 points. However, most of that average is being driven by a Week 4 game where Harvey scored 19.8 fantasy points and finished as the RB12.
That was one of two games this season where Harvey has had a 29% or higher snap share and double-digit touches. It was also a blowout victory for the Broncos.
At this point, Harvey is well behind veteran J.K. Dobbins in the Broncos' backfield hierarchy. The Broncos have a chance to be in a positive game script against the Giants, but they have also been playing well enough to keep the game competitive.
It is impossible to feel confident with Harvey in your starting lineup in Week 7 unless your team is struggling through injuries or bye weeks.
