Dinelson Lamet Loses No-Hitter In Seventh
Dinelson Lamet picked up his first win Tuesday against the Seattle Mariners. Lamet carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning before surrendering back-to-back hits. He struck out 12 batters on the evening while walking four. The seven frames were his most since returning from Tommy John surgery in early July and he sits with a 3.90 ERA and 1.27 WHIP across six start. Lamet continues to show his strikeout prowess with a 12.6 K/9 but his wildness and lack of endurance are risks to any fantasy investor. He’s worth a flier this Sunday at home against the Colorado Rockies.
