Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 4:
Jeremiyah Love, Arizona Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals running back Jeremiyah Love finally gave fantasy managers what they've been waiting to see on Sunday. The rookie back had a quiet first two weeks, but he put together a breakout performance in Week 3. Love carried the ball 21 times for 90 yards on the ground. Love also hauled in all five of his targets for 19 yards and a touchdown through the air in the loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
These are the kind of games that fantasy managers expect to see weekly from Love. The flow of the game is also going to have an impact, as the Cardinals continued to run the ball because they had a chance to win this game. Fantasy managers can be hopeful for another big performance from Love against the New York Giants in Week 4.
Jadarian Price, Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks running back Jadarian Price had a rough afternoon in Sunday's 33-31 loss to the Washington Commanders, finishing with five carries for 15 yards and one catch for seven yards. Price lost a fumble early in the first quarter, his second lost fumble in as many games, and his workload dropped off sharply after the mistake. He did not record another carry until the third quarter. Emanuel Wilson wound up leading the backfield with nine carries for 14 yards, while George Holani also remained involved with three attempts for 10 yards.
Price entered the game cleared from the chest injury that ended his Week 2 afternoon early, so the usage is worth noting. Seattle was already rotating its running backs before Sunday, and another ball-security mistake does not help Price separate from the group. He remains part of the fantasy picture, but this backfield looks much more like a committee than a situation with one dependable lead option right now.
Kenyon Sadiq, New York Jets
New York Jets rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq caught seven of eight passes for 105 yards and a touchdown in the 31-24 loss to the Detroit Lions. With wide receiver Adonai Mitchell (finger) and tight end Mason Taylor (thumb) inactive, Sadiq had a breakout game, being one of two tight ends to have over 100 yards in Week 3.
However, he played only 57% of the snaps and ran 58% of the routes, while Jelani Woods and Jeremy Ruckert also saw significant roles. If Mitchell or Taylor return next week against the Chicago Bears, Sadiq could see fewer targets, but he looked special and will be difficult to keep off the field. Sadiq should be a strong waiver-wire option as he looks to carry this momentum into Week 4.
Chris Bell, Miami Dolphins
Miami Dolphins rookie wide receiver Chris Bell had the best game of his young career in his team's Week 3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, recording four catches for 67 yards on seven targets. With fellow Dolphins rookie wideout Caleb Douglas (ankle) sidelined by an ankle injury, Bell emerged as a key target for Miami quarterback Malik Willis. Bell played on 71% of Miami's offensive snaps on Sunday and finished tied for second on the team in targets. Douglas' eventual return could impact Bell's playing time.
However, the 22-year-old is only getting healthier himself after missing a large chunk of the summer while recovering from a torn ACL. As Bell gets more comfortable in terms of both health and experience, his production could continue to improve. In PPR-scoring leagues with 12 or more teams, Bell profiles as a worthy waiver wire target for fantasy managers.
