Quarterback Colton Joseph An Early Star of Wisconsin Camp
Wisconsin quarterback Colton Joseph is slated to be the team's starter after transferring in from Old Dominion. Through the early part of fall camp, Joseph has been a standout player, according to Evan Flood of Badger Blitz. "Joseph had his way with the Wisconsin defense on Friday," Flood wrote. "[Joseph] picked apart the secondary with precise passes, mostly over the middle, and many against tight coverage. Joseph did a good job of taking what the defense gave him and keeping the ball out of harm's way." The quarterback position has been a major weakness for Wisconsin during the Luke Fickell era, so Joseph building on his career in the Sun Belt and having success in the Big Ten would be a fantastic development. In 21 career games, the California native has thrown for 4,251 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions.
