Free daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. Use Max Kulish's NBA DFS expert picks to building winning DFS lineups on October 30th, 2025.
Happy Thursday, Rotoballers! Tonight we have a four-game slate headlined by Giannis and the Bucks hosting Stephen Curry and the Warriors on NBA TV. These articles focus on the overall best plays, which are typically more suited for cash games. However, some exceptions may apply, depending on the size of the slate.
The key to being successful in NBA DFS comes down to making adjustments during the day as injury information becomes available. But it's always really important to have a game plan and the best players and spots circled first before making those adjustments. To keep up with all the latest developments and get access to updated projections, grab an NBA season pass and also gain access to our RotoBaller Premium Discord, where our experts are talking about the slate up until lineups lock!
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 10/30/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. EST on FanDuel and DraftKings. Good luck tonight, RotoBallers!
NBA DFS Core Picks
Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL - PF ($12,100 DK / $12,200 FD)
Giannis has been a one-man wrecking crew so far in this young season. Currently sporting a 35.6% usage rate, good for second in the league, it doesn't seem like the Bucks will stop relying on their superstar anytime soon. To further emphasize how much Giannis does for this team, just look at the pricing. Giannis is the slate's most expensive option at $12.1K; his next-highest priced Bucks player is Kyle Kuzma at $5.9K.
Tonight, he has an excellent matchup against a Warriors team that doesn't play with a true center and is currently in the bottom five in team rebounds per game. He has an elite floor/ceiling combo, making him a great place to start lineups in both cash and tournament games.
Victor Wembanyama, SAS - C ($11,700 DK / $12,600 FD)
If Giannis has been a one-man wrecking crew, Wemby has been a one-man highlight reel. Leading the Spurs to a 4-0 start to the season, he seemingly breaks the game as we know it every time he takes the court. Coming off his worst fantasy performance of the year, "only" scoring 57.5 DK points, I like his chances to bounce back in a home game.
The only hole you can poke in Wemby tonight is that he has a less-than-ideal matchup against Miami, which has been gravitating towards larger lineups with Tyler Herro injured to start the year.
Wemby also possesses an elite floor/ceiling combo, and virtually every lineup on the slate will contain at least one of him or Giannis. Picking which of these two will anchor your lineup is the key decision on the slate tonight.

LaMelo Ball, CHA- PG ($9,900 DK / $9,500 FD)
The Hornets are currently tied for third in the NBA in PPG, while simultaneously allowing the fifth most PPG, meaning their game environments are extremely fantasy-friendly. Tonight, they host the Magic, who are also in the bottom-10 scoring defenses so far this year. Unsurprisingly, this game has the highest implied total on the slate by a healthy margin (241.5 implied total, 9 points higher than the next closest game).
Although we're only a handful of games in, LaMelo has the highest scoring fantasy performance for any player this season (84.75), after his massive triple-double against the Wizards earlier this week. His ceiling is as high as any other player in the NBA, and if he hits that ceiling, you'll separate from the players who spend down at guard.
LaMelo Ball was a STANDOUT in Charlotte's win tonight:

NBA DFS GPP Pivots
Paolo Banchero, ORL - PF ($8,800 DK / $8,700 FD)
Speaking of triple-doubles, Paolo had his most well-balanced box score of the year last night, posting 24/11/7 as the Magic fell to the Detroit Pistons. Over his career, he's averaged 24.4/7.1/5.9 against the Hornets, and with the Magic on a 4-game losing skid, I expect them to once again lean heavily on their star player, who has posted 50+ fantasy points in consecutive games.
Banchero's ownership is projected to be much lower than Giannis', making him a great pivot off of the slate's most expensive player.

Stephen Curry, GS - PG ($9,000 DK / $8,400 FD)
Steph is still an elite scorer, but since the Warriors acquired Jimmy Butler last year, he's taken fewer shots per game. Steph has scored fewer than 20 points in back-to-back games, and I think there's optimism he'll break that trend tonight. The Bucks are one of the top interior defense teams early on this season, and they definitely have the size advantage over the Warriors. I expect the Warriors to attack the Bucks' average 3-point defense. Steph always profiles so well as a GPP play due to his ceiling outcomes and consistently being priced in the $9K range.
NBA DFS Value Picks
Ryan Rollins, MIL - PG ($5,500)
Rollins has been the Robin to Giannis' Batman since entering the starting lineup after Kevin Porter Jr. went down with an injury. Averaging 36 fantasy PPG in those three starts, Rollins seems to be the best sub-$6K play on DraftKings tonight. He's projected to carry a ton of ownership as well, so fading him in tournaments could yield big results if he has an average game.
A career-high night for Ryan Rollins!
🎯 25 points (career-high)
🎯 4-4 from deep
🎯 8-11 from the floor@Bucks move to 3-1 to begin the season 🔥 pic.twitter.com/uAJNddgxc2— NBA (@NBA) October 29, 2025
Aaron Wiggins, OKC - SF/PF ($5,500 DK / $5,200 FD)
The defending champs are short-handed to start the season, with Jalen Williams yet to play this year, and they just had Chet Holmgren miss his first game due to an injury. Wiggins stepped into the starting lineup and went off for 43 DK points in a win over the Kings on Tuesday. Wiggins will presumably start again tonight and should be a prime candidate to be the Thunder's secondary scoring option.
Simone Fontecchio, MIA - SF ($3,700 DK/ $3,900 FD)
Fontecchio is averaging 21.5 fantasy PPG through his first four games, and combined with a price under $4K, he projects very well in our optimizer. SF as a whole doesn't have any top-tier plays, which makes this an easy spot to save some salary.
Today's Top NBA DFS Game Stacks
Magic @ Hornets (241.5 O/U) - This one is a no-brainer - when there's a game with an implied total 9 points higher than the rest of the games on the slate, that's the best option for doing a game stack. With solid options across all price tiers, this game will undoubtedly be the most widely-played in DFS.
Wizards @ Thunder (232.5 O/U) - This game features two teams in the top 10 in pace so far this year (WAS - 1st, OKC - 7th). A faster pace always equals more fantasy points, and pace is always a great starting point when trying to zero in on one game. There is definitely some concern with the Thunder winning by a blowout, since they are 15-point favorites, but the other two games on the slate aren't without criticism either. With such a sizeable spread keeping ownership at modest levels, this game could be key in tournaments.
