Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Joel Blomqvist (lower body) will be unavailable for a minimum of four weeks, the team announced Friday. The injury kills Blomqvist's chances of starting the campaign with the Penguins. He made his first 15 NHL appearances last season, finishing with a 4-9-1 record. Pittsburgh struggled for most of the year, and Blomqvist couldn't steady the ship, posting a 3.81 goals-against average and a .885 save percentage. In the Penguins crease, Tristan Jarry will be challenged for playing time this season by Arturs Silovs, whom the team acquired from the Vancouver Canucks during the offseason.--Taavi PailkRead More News
