Alec Pierce Missing Practice for Third Straight Day
Alec Pierce (concussion) is missing practice for a third straight day this week on Friday, according to James Boyd of The Athletic. Pierce suffered a concussion in the Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans and appears unlikely to suit up this weekend against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. The 25-year-old will most likely be ruled out here soon on Friday. He's seen his involvement tick up the last two weeks after a slow one-catch season opener, and Pierce has nine grabs on 13 targets for 171 yards through the first three weeks. However, fantasy managers in deeper leagues will need to move him to their benches in Week 4. With Pierce not expected to play on Sunday, it will mean more targets for receivers Michael Pittman Jr., Josh Downs, and Adonai Mitchell, and rookie tight end Tyler Warren.
