Jayden Daniels Waiting for Clearance from Doctors
Jayden Daniels (knee) appears to be feeling better after sitting out Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Daniels suffered a knee injury in Week 2 that forced him to the sideline last Sunday. He was able to get through a limited practice on Wednesday without any discomfort. Despite the progress, Daniels is leaving his game status for Week 4 up to the doctors. The Commanders are likely going to wait it out a few more days before making a final decision. There's a chance that Daniels does suit up this weekend, but wears a brace on his knee. However, no one should blame the Commanders for taking the cautious approach and sitting their young franchise quarterback for one more game. Marcus Mariota completed 15-of-21 passing attempts for 207 yards and a touchdown in Week 3. The 31-year-old seems capable of leading this offense to victory against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4. Fantasy managers will need to check back for another update on Daniels.
