Zach Dezenzo Hits First Long Ball Of The Season
Zach Dezenzo went 2-for-3 with a home run during their loss to the Chicago White Sox on Sunday afternoon. Dezenzo went deep in the fifth inning off Chicago right-hander Bryse Wilson. This was a two-run shot that also scored first baseman Christian Walker. Through his first 17 games of the regular season, Dezenzo has posted a solid .283/.327/.413 slash line with three doubles and one home run. Even though he has had limited playing time, the No. 5-ranked prospect in the Houston system has shown upside when on the field. Under the hood, he has generated a strong 16.1 percent barrel rate with a .273 xBA. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progression as he could eventually carve out a role in the Houston starting nine.
