Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 12? Jonnu Smith, Will Dissly, Hunter Henry

Jonnu Smith - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Who should I start for Week 12? Fantasy football outlooks for Jonnu Smith, Will Dissly, Hunter Henry. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.

Week 12 is here, and fantasy managers are making crucial lineup decisions. Tight end remains a tricky position to pin down. This week, three players are intriguing options: Jonnu Smith, Will Dissly, and Hunter Henry.

Let's evaluate each player's performance, role in their offense, and Week 12 matchup to decide if they should be started or benched.

Here is everything you need to know before setting your lineup.

Should I Start Jonnu Smith for Fantasy Football?

Jonnu Smith is having his best season yet in his first year with the Miami Dolphins. He ranks second on the team in targets (52) and receiving yards (448), trailing only star wideout Tyreek Hill.

In Week 11, Smith exploded for six receptions, 101 yards, and two touchdowns on eight targets, leading the Dolphins to a 34-19 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. He additionally ran 35 routes and posted a season-high 22.9% target share.

With six or more targets in five of his last six games, Smith's consistent role makes him a solid option this week. He faces the New England Patriots, a team struggling to contain tight ends. Smith is a trustworthy start as a low-end TE1.

Should I Start Will Dissly for Fantasy Football?

A tight end becoming an important player in the Los Angeles Chargers passing attack is Will Dissly. He has taken over as the primary pass-catching tight end, leaving Hayden Hurst behind in fantasy relevance.

In Week 11, Dissly brought in four balls on six targets for 80 yards and a touchdown in a victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. He has logged six or more targets in four of his last five games.

The Chargers face the Baltimore Ravens this week, a team allowing the 10th-most fantasy points to tight ends. Dissly is a strong play in Week 12 with his recent involvement and favorable matchup. He can be started in most formats, particularly in deeper leagues.

Should I Start Hunter Henry for Fantasy Football?

Hunter Henry has been a dependable option for the New England Patriots and their rookie quarterback, Drake Maye. Henry is currently TE9 in PPR leagues, proving his value as a streaming option.

In Week 12, Henry battles the Miami Dolphins. Miami ranks second in targets allowed and seventh in receptions allowed to tight ends this season.

Maye's growing confidence has boosted Henry's production, and the Patriots rely on him more in the passing game. This game is a promising contest, and Henry should deliver as a low-end TE1.
