Vikings Don't View Justin Jefferson's Injury As Season-Ending
1 year agoMinnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said he doesn't view wide receiver Justin Jefferson's (hamstring) injury as a season-long injury. O'Connell didn't specify the specific grade of the right-hamstring injury but said it was severe enough to place him on Injured Reserve, which will keep Jefferson sidelined for at least the next four games. If the Vikings are well out of contention after the next four games, don't expect the team to rush the 24-year-old All-Pro pass-catcher back when he's initially eligible to return from IR. Fantasy managers must stash Jefferson everywhere and hope he's back sooner than later. In the meantime, rookie Jordan Addison, K.J. Osborn and T.J. Hockenson will be quarterback Kirk Cousins' top aerial targets.
