T.J. Oshie Scores In Second Consecutive Game
11 months agoWashington Capitals right wing T.J. Oshie potted the team's lone goal in Sunday's 2-1 defeat to the Rangers, making it two goals in two games for himself. The veteran replaced Alex Ovechkin (lower body) on the top line on Saturday against the Rangers and made an immediate impact with a goal. He remained in the role Sunday as Ovechkin missed a second consecutive contest. The prolific weekend should give Oshie much-needed momentum during a down year. He had only two goals and four points in 22 games prior to the weekend's action.
