Montreal Canadiens goaltender Sam Montembeault is the likely starter for Saturday's road contest versus the rival Boston Bruins. The Habs have a trio of goaltenders involved in the mix between the pipes at the moment as it was Cayden Primeau who started Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Senators while Jake Allen made a Jan. 15 start against the Avalanche. Saturday marks Montembeault's second start over his club's last three games as he's been the best of the three netminders this season. The 27-year-old owns a 2.85 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage across 21 outings (20 starts) on the season with a 10-6-4 record in that time. He has allowed just four goals (three in regulation) over his last two appearances while surrendering three goals or fewer in five straight starts entering Saturday's contest.--Brenton Kemp
