9 months agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Sal Frelick is starting in center field and is batting leadoff again on Tuesday against the visiting Minnesota Twins and right-hander Louie Varland. Frelick was on the bench for the season opener last Thursday against a left-hander, but since then he's started and hit leadoff in three straight games. It's good news for Frelick when the Brewers face right-handed pitchers, although he's off to a slow start at the plate through two games played, going 1-for-9 with a stolen base and a run scored. The 23-year-old also worked on the infield in spring training and could be an option for the Brew Crew at second or third base on occasion in 2024 given all of the team's outfield options. Frelick isn't a bad DFS play on days he's hitting leadoff against a right-hander.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
