Jhoan Duran Records His 32nd Save on Friday
Jhoan Duran notched his 32nd save of the season on Friday in a 3-1 win over his former team, the Minnesota Twins. Duran allowed two hits, but did not give up a run and struck out two in his one inning of work. The 27-year-old has been a bit shaky of late, allowing six hits and three earned runs over his last five appearances. Overall, Duran's numbers on the season are rock solid. Across 70 innings split between Minnesota and Philadelphia, Duran is 7-6 with a 2.06 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 80 strikeouts to go along with his career-high 32 saves.
