Robert Hassell III Goes Deep on Wednesday
Robert Hassell III went 2-for-6 with a home run in Wednesday's extra-inning loss against Triple-A Scranton Wilkes-Barre. Hassell has enjoyed a strong month of July, slashing .323/.429/.446 with a pair of homers and stolen bases in 65 at-bats. The 23-year-old was promoted to the majors in late May, and struggled mightily with just a .497 OPS in 79 plate appearances. His minor league numbers have never jumped off the page at any level, as he's been more above-average to solid at most stops. That doesn't give him the most upside in dynasty leagues, and he won't have much appeal in redraft leagues except in NL-only formats if he were to return to the majors this year.
