Randy Arozarena Sitting In Series Finale
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena is not in the starting lineup on Sunday in the series finale against the New York Yankees. Arozarena is getting a day of rest despite heating up at the plate of late. The 27-year-old has gone 13-for-32 (.406 average) with two home runs, seven RBI and a stolen base in eight games since May 20 to raise his season line to .259/.305/.408 with four home runs, 19 RBI, 21 runs scored and four stolen bases in 187 plate appearances. With Arozarena sitting, Manuel Margot is in left field and is batting fifth, while Brett Phillips gets the nod in right field while hitting seventh against Yankees right-hander Luis Severino. Margot has been hot with the bat this year and should garner some DFS appeal.
