The upcoming series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals that was scheduled for Monday-Wednesday has been officially cancelled as the Cardinals continue to work through the positive COVID-19 tests that have dismantled their 2020 season. Monday’s contest had already been wiped out, but now the whole series will be tabled, making it at least 15 days between games for St. Louis, whose next chance to get on the field comes Aug. 13 in a doubleheader against Detroit. Owners will want to adjust weekly lock lineups and consider sitting players from both teams due to the guarantee of a diminished schedule.--Jesse BorekRead More News
